Computime Electronic Factory

Overview

Computime is a Malaysian electronics manufacturer operating a continuous 24-hour production facility with stringent process cooling requirements. The facility runs an 800 RT installed chiller system (800 RT on duty) using Trane and Daikin chillers, maintaining process cooling within a tight 23–26°C temperature band and 40–65% relative humidity: conditions essential for electronic component manufacturing quality and consistency. MSSB deployed Mi-ACE in March 2024, integrating directly with the existing chiller infrastructure without disrupting ongoing 24-hour operations. Unlike comfort cooling environments that follow predictable occupancy patterns, process cooling in an electronics facility runs at near-constant load around the clock: making every percentage point of savings more significant in absolute energy and cost terms. The deployment at Computime demonstrates that Mi-ACE delivers measurable results even in the most demanding continuous industrial cooling environments.
